RIP JD Salinger: "The Garbo of letters"....

NY Times writer Charles McGrath says it all: J. D. Salinger, "the Garbo of letters," dies at age 91. “Salinger had remarked that he was in this world but not of it,” according to a statement by his literary agents.  Read the obit in the NY Times HERE.
